Change her life - and yours!
Girl Scouts just wouldn’t be Girl Scouts without volunteers. Volunteers are cheerleaders, guides, and mentors, helping girls develop crucial skills and confidence to launch them into a lifetime of leadership. Imagine the excitement, the memories made, and the impact—this is what you’ll share as a Girl Scout volunteer.
While your troop leader has signed on as your girl’s primary source of guidance, we hope all families will give a little time to support their troop. This helps ensure the best Girl Scout experience for all. There are lots of ways you can help — you’ll be surprised at the many options!
We’re asking for your promise of 4 hours per family per year — 4Her. What can a 4-hour promise really do?
- The 4Her Promise is an open door to participation for parents and family members.
- It can build a solid support base, and strengthen a girl’s chances of longevity with the troop.
- You’ll witness the positive effect your participation has on the troop and your daughter.
- Your troop can accomplish so much more with just a little help.
- Communication between you and other troop families significantly increases.
- You build future volunteers as children witness parent volunteerism firsthand
Whether you can give a few hours, a few weeks, or a few months, volunteering with Girl Scouts is flexible and fun.
